The AUSCHAM 'Australian Business Awards 2022' will be held on Friday, 17th March 2023.

The Australian Business Awards 2022 recognize the shining stars of Australian businesses and individuals at the highest levels operating in Vietnam. This is an exceptional opportunity for staff, customers, suppliers, and owners to achieve recognition from the Australian business community in Vietnam and the region.

We are currently accepting nominations for 2022 Awards for Business Excellence: 

- Leading Small Business <$1M AUD
- Leading Medium Business $1 – 7M AUD
- Leading Large Business $7 – 20M AUD
- Leading Corporate >$20M AUD

Business Woman of the Year
Young Business Person of the Year 
Outstanding Employee 
Outstanding Leader in Business
Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance in Business

Nominations for Business Excellence Awards close 5PM (ICT) FRIDAY 24 FEBRUARY, 2023
and will be assessed by a selected judging panel of industry leaders.

There are also a number of Peer Voted Awards you can vote for:

  • Best locally produced brand (product or marque in a retail space)

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS - ORGANISATIONS

Awards for Business Excellence are awarded to organizations who demonstrate their contribution to leadership in their chosen industry sector.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
· The organization must be an AUSCHAM Member
· Share a Business Plan Demonstration of their business planning process covering financial, HR, marketing, business culture and operational aspects of the company. This will include some form of vision / mission values statement and measurable action plan within the company.
· Financial Position Proof of profitability and year on year growth except for businesses whose operation has been directly impacted by the pandemic
· Nominees need to demonstrate how they have reached their community and industry recognition and explain the strategies for which they intend to stay at the forefront of their industry through business excellence.
·  ESG  Businesses can demonstrate their Environmental, Social and Governance policies that are part of the fabric of the operation of the company. This is an evaluation of a firm’s collective conscientiousness. for social and environmental factors and will be demonstrated by recycling and or waste reduction policies as well as a commitment to improving the lives of people in the community.

BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR
This award honors women who possess vision, innovation, entrepreneurial drive, leadership, individuality and tenacity with the goal being to present role models for other women to aspire to.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
· The Business is a Member of AUSCHAM
· Owner or Manager of Business.
· Ability to articulate the vision and direction of the business.
· Company culture overview.
· Business philosophy and drivers.

The community recognizes inspiring women in business who embody leadership qualities and embrace the principles of corporate social responsibility.

YOUNG BUSINESSPERSON OF THE YEAR
This award is designed to put the creativity and tenacity of AusCham’s forward-thinking, young business minds into the spotlight, recognizing their leadership, success and contribution to society.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
· Business is a Member of AUSCHAM.
· Owner or Manager of Business.
· Ability to articulate the vision and direction of the business.
· Company culture overview.
· Business philosophy and drivers.

This award is open to individuals who are 30 years or younger, in business, embody leadership qualities and embrace the principles of corporate social responsibility.

OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE
A business is only as strong as the people who are part of it. This award gives businesses the opportunity to nominate their best and brightest member for recognition by their peers. This category is for an employee in any position in the company.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
· Business is a member of AUSCHAM.
· Nominee demonstrates excellence on the job by being able to explain their role in the company and how it assists in the success of the business.
· Nominee can articulate the vision / mission of their company and its key attributes.
· Nominee has helped to build community / mentor others

OUTSTANDING LEADER IN BUSINESS
A business is only as strong as the people who are part of it. This award gives businesses the opportunity to nominate their best and brightest for recognition by their peers. This category is for a leader in the business as a front-line leader of member of the company management.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
· Business is a member of AUSCHAM.
· Nominee demonstrates excellence on the job by being able to explain their role in the company and how it assists in the success of the business.
· Nominee can articulate the vision/mission of their company and its key attributes.
· Nominee has helped to build community / mentor others.
· Nominee will be able to discuss the key attributes to achieving successful leadership in their role with some concrete examples.

AWARD FOR ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL & CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance is an evaluation of a firm’s collective conscientiousness for social and environmental factors. It is typically a score that is compiled from data collected surrounding specific metrics related to intangible assets within the enterprise.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
· Business is a member of AUSCHAM
· Businesses can demonstrate their Environmental, Social and Governance policies that are part of the fabric of the operation of the company.

This is an evaluation of a firm’s collective conscientiousness for social and environmental factors and will be demonstrated by recycling and or waste reduction policies as well as a commitment to improving the lives of people in the community.
