Systems of Care for Healthy Mental Development ECHO Registration

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Systems of Care for Healthy Mental Development ECHO will serve as a forum to build capacity for systems of care to support healthy mental development for pediatric patients and their families.  The program will increase participants’ knowledge and self-efficacy around identification, assessment, and management of disruptions to healthy mental development.
  
The (AAP) Systems of Care for Healthy Mental Development ECHO will also provide a forum for participants to connect with and learn from each other to strengthen linkages between pediatric providers and Title V programs. 

Utilizing the ECHO model, a tele-mentoring program designed to create a community of learners by bringing together pediatric health care and public health professionals, fostering an "all teach, all learn" approach. Each ECHO session includes a brief presentation, followed by a case presentation submitted by participants for discussion, problem-solving, guidance and recommended follow-up. All attendees are strongly encouraged to actively participate during each virtual ECHO session. This includes enabling video and audio components of the videoconferencing technology to ensure active engagement. Technical assistance will be provided prior and throughout the launch of the program.

A 60-minute recorded kickoff call will be held via Zoom in April  (time and date TBD). 

Beginning in May 2022, participants will meet bi-weekly for a total of 6 sessions via Zoom. The program will conclude in July 2022.
