2024 Associate Advisory Committee Nominations

Term: Two years: beginning Oct 9, 2024 through the conclusion of the 2026 Annual Conference.

Eligibility: Associate members in good standing. Must continue to be an associate member for at least one year during term.

Time Commitment: The AAC meets by monthly conference call. Projects may require time commitment outside of conference calls.

Committee chair must also attend the Board of Trustees meetings during his/her term.

Committee Charge: Advise ASLA leaders and professional team members on key policies and programs that have an impact on associate members. Draw on their own experiences and that of their fellow professionals at the beginning of their career as Landscape Architects to provide input and feedback to inform annual program development and priority-setting. Focus on associate member recruitment and retention. Develop content for publications and social media.

The committee chair will serve as the Associate Representative to the Board of Trustees, a voting position, and serve as the liaison between the Board and the committee.
