This survey is brought to you by IEEE P2418.5 Workgroup.   P2418.5 is a newly established IEEE Workgroup, the purpose is to create an open, common, and interoperable reference framework model for Distributed Ledger Technologies/Blockchain applications in the energy sector. The purpose of survey is to help IEEE 2418.5 WG team to determine the standardization related tasks of the Blockchain technology in energy by understanding the current landscape, current and future application of Blockchain in Energy, and to identify areas of need for standardization.
