With government and policy in flux this year, CalNonprofits will be tracking how the nonprofit community is changing as well. This survey -- #1 -- focuses on what you are seeing and thinking, and also establishes a baseline. We will be asking these same questions again during 2017.

* 2. Please choose your THREE primary constituencies (people you serve, work with, etc.) by demographics:

* 3. Since the November election, we've heard that nonprofits -- especially health and human services -- are seeing changes in client demand and in what they are asking for. For instance, some nonprofits are seeing higher attendance in conferences or performances. Or, in anticipation of changes in health policy, some women's clinics have reported an increase in requests for IUDs compared to birth control pills. In the last four months, have you seen any changes in volume or intensity in how your constituencies engage with your organization?

* 4. Some nonprofits have reported that they have more interest from volunteers. How have you experienced volunteer interest?

* 5. If you receive government funding:

* 6. If you receive foundation funding:

* 7. If you receive individual donations:

* 8. Since the November election, what changes (if any) have you made in your organization? (choose all that apply)

* 9. Almost done! Just three questions about your organization: Approximately what is your annual expense budget?

* 10. About how many staff? Count both full- and part-time

* 11. We know it's hard to pick just one, but which of the following best describes your organization's field of work?

* 12. Do you have any additional thoughts you'd like to share with us?

Thank you for taking the time to help all of us understand the California nonprofit community this year. Results of this survey will be published in our eAlerts, to which you can subscribe at www.calnonprofits.org.  Thank you!
