2024 ACEEE Champion of Energy Efficiency in Buildings Awards

ACEEE is accepting nominations for the Champion of Energy Efficiency in Building awards. The awards will be presented at the 2024 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Pacific Grove, California (August 4-9).

The 2024 Champion Awards recognize leadership and accomplishment in the buildings energy efficiency field. The ACEEE Board of Directors' Awards Committee will select winners from nominees who have demonstrated impact, influence, initiative, innovation, equity, and leadership in the categories listed below. The Committee’s selections will be based solely on the submitted nomination packages.

Nomination(s) must be received by ACEEE no later than May 14, 2024.

Lifetime Achievement. For a career of leadership and sustained impacts on industrial energy efficiency.

Research and Development. For baseline or background research, as well as R&D of products and practices.

Energy Policy. For developing, promoting, and supporting energy efficiency policy at the federal, state, or local level.

Implementation and Deployment. For effective design and implementation of programs or projects, including achievement of significant impacts on energy use.

Young Professional. For demonstrated excellence and leadership in industry energy efficiency. The nominee must be 35 or younger (as of 8/4/24).
