Service Activity Reporting During COVID-19
AmeriCorps Seniors recognizes that due to the continued impact of COVID-19, AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers may continue to be unable to serve.
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has directed AmeriCorps Seniors to report out on current service activities undertaken by AmeriCorps Seniors grantees at this moment in time, during COVID-19. Existing collection methods – continuation/renewal applications, progress reports, etc. – were deemed insufficient by OMB. To fulfill OMB’s request this survey was devised to identify how volunteers will be engaged in service following July 31, 2021. We know the high level of uncertainty right now and how difficult it is to predict service activity. The survey is intended to be a snapshot as of August 1, 2021. We ask that you use your best professional judgement when outlining how service will look on August 1, 2021.
Following submittal of this survey, AmeriCorps Seniors grantees will receive confirmation of the survey’s submittal. This survey is specific to each grant and should be completed once for each grant. The survey should take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete.
