Title: Foundations of Coach Development
Coach Educators & Coach Developers
A 3-day virtual program from the United States Center for Coaching Excellence for individuals who work within coach education and coach development programs to explore the foundations of learning as they apply to coach education and coach development job duties within a sport organization.
Essential principles of learning facilitation and adult learning design will be discussed with the goal of supporting a shared language and innovative practices within the coach education and coach development community and to the application of evidence-based practices in education.
Participants will have an opportunity to network and engage throughout the program. Participants will also explore practical education concepts that can be integrated into their current coaching education work. This is a participation workshop, so all participants are asked to be in a distraction free location where they can fully participate with sound, video and on screen activities.
