Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Tuxes & Tails!

Our Rescue Squad is invited to join us for Tuxes & Tails 2023, a festive and fun evening featuring cuddly pets of all shapes and sizes! Event guests will be part of Seattle Humane's bright future as we expand our programs to support pets and the people who love them. Of course, we couldn't have a successful event without our amazing volunteers!

If you're interested in helping out, please complete the following form to tell us more about yourself and what role(s) you are interested in volunteering for. Staff will review your information and follow-up via email within a few business days.

Please note that volunteer openings are filled at the discretion of Seattle Humane staff for qualified individuals, and availability is subject to change at any time. If you are not currently an active Seattle Humane volunteer, you will be asked to sign some waivers and agreements prior to participating in this event.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to volunteer for this event.

Some things you should know about these volunteer roles:

All of these roles will require volunteers to be on their feet for most of the shift.

If you are interested in night-of roles:

All of our night-of roles - especially Registration - are very people-focused, and are ideal for outgoing individuals who are comfortable approaching and speaking with strangers.

Event night can often be busy and hectic, and it's not uncommon for last-minute changes to occur. While we will assign volunteers to specific roles, it is possible you may get moved to another role night-of if that group is short-handed or other needs arise.
