If you are serious about working on bikes and already know how to perform routine bike maintenance, then this class is for you!

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In this hands-on course, our expert mechanic will walk you through how to work on your own bike. You will leave with knowledge and a tune-up!

By the time you’re done, you will have the knowledge and skills to repair your own bike. This 6-week intensive advanced bike maintenance course will teach you what you need to know about your bike and how to work on it. This class meets one night a week for a two-hour session. Topics cover everything from wheel truing to bearing overhauls as well as shifting and braking systems. Class objectives are tailored to the people who enroll, so everyone gets the most out of the lessons. The curriculum makes use of the Park Tool School curriculum but goes into greater depth on some topics.

This class is offered free of charge, however as part of the class agreements, participants agree to volunteer a minimum of six hours, or at two community bike repair events (Bike Doc) coordinated by Jibe before the end of the 2023 calendar year.
