The Expo 2018

This is a disability-related community event. This form is to pre-register for a booth a the Expo MAIN EVENT held on Saturday, October 27th at NSU. Signing up here does NOT guarantee a spot at the event, as space is limited and subject to approval. All approved candidates will receive a confirmation email and additional information on or by September 10, 2018. The Expo is annual South Florida-focused disability event for all ages.

* 1. For Expo booth consideration, please complete the following pre-registration form. Not all will be approved. Exhibitors must be a legitimate/licensed  business, organization, group, foundation, etc. 

Note: space is limited. All exhibitors, requests and changes must be approved by the Expo Committee.

* 2. Please provide A. a website link to your agency (Example: www.theexpofl.com) and B. Briefly describe how your agency/organization/business benefits people with disabilities (this answer is part of exhibitor eligibility).

* 3. THIS IS A PRE-REGISTRATION. REGISTRANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL UPON APPROVAL. Rates for approved exhibitors are $275+ for for-profit/commercial businesses and NO FEE for non-profit (space is limited) but non-profits can pay $250 for a priority location, advertisement, and will have immediate approval.

All approved attendees will be provided one six-foot table, 1 tablecloth, and two chairs at event. Once application is approved, you will be notified via email and given info on payment options where applicable. The Expo booths are in both the University Center and the Alvin Sherman Library at NSU. You can be notified of your booth building location upon approval--those who choose to purchase a table will receive priority locations within these buildings. 

ALL PAID SPONSORS RECEIVE RECOGNITION IN THE EXPO PROGRAM MAP! 
Sponsorship Packages (includes exhibit space, an Expo Program advertisement in the program with promotions for your business). A 501c3 non-profit can pay $250 to have a premium booth location and a listing in the program. Call 954-390-0493 Ext. 8009 for details regarding sponsorship opportunities by September 10th.

Payment due within 10 days of Expo Approval/Confirmation email (September email) through the email you provided to us (will begin Late August at the earliest). A link for payment and further details will be attached. Payment options are via check at this time. Unfortunately, not all registrations will be approved to exhibit this year due to limited space.Payment details will be emailed to the address you provide above. This is not a first-come first served pre-registration. 

Registration is NOT complete until you receive final Expo Approval/Confirmation email from the Expo Committee AND your payment or purchase order is received.

NOTE: Participation, as an exhibitor, in the Expo must be approved by the 2018 Expo Executive Committee. A confirmation email will be sent to you by late August. 

-Exhibitor booths will be located in the Alvin Sherman Library and the Don Taft University Center. All attendees and participants will visit all the booths at these two nearby locations. 

-It is necessary to have your exhibit staffed at ALL TIMES during the Expo. The Expo, all partners and sponsors are not responsible for injury, damage, or lost, stolen, or damaged property or items.

-Free parking for exhibitors will be on the 2nd floor and above of the Alvin Sherman parking garage. You may arrive early to drop off your items at the round-a-bout and receive assistance to your booth.

-Physical set up of your exhibit, including all display materials, are to be completed NO LATER than 9:20 a.m. and NOT BEFORE 8:15am. 

-Exhibitors requiring an accommodation in order to participate must contact 954-390-0493 Ext. 250 (Voice) or 954-537-2844 (TTY) at least ten (10) business days prior to event.

-No food is to be prepared or distributed in the exhibit area. Individually pre-packaged items or wrapped candy are acceptable. Again, we are not responsible for any damage, loss or liability to your decision to provide these items at your booth.
-Exhibit/Display breakdown will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Our guests need to know you will be available to answer questions and offer resources. Leaving early is a disservice to our participants.
