2026 ETTF Scholarship Application

Eligibility

Scholarships offered by UFCW Local 832 through the Education Fund (ETTF) are:

Available to members (or their dependent*) in good standing and from an ETTF-contributing workplace.
Awarded to members who have never received scholarship funding previously (one scholarship per member in a lifetime regardless of the number of dependents or children they may have).
Open to applicants from February 1 to May 31 each year for studies in the fall/winter academic of that same calendar year.

*For the purposes of determining eligibility, dependent is defined as a member’s child, foster child, step child or child for which they are the legal guardian. Spouse is defined as outlined by the government of Manitoba.

$2,000 Workplace Scholarship (4 avail) to members (or their dependents) who work for one of these workplaces:
Loblaw (Superstore); Maple Leaf Consumer Foods / Canada Packers; Red River Co-op; or Sobeys Capital (Safeway).

$1,000 General Scholarship (18 avail) for members or their dependents who work for an ETTF employer.

$1,000 Indigenous Scholarship: for members (or their dependents) who work for an ETTF employer.
If chosen, member will need to provide proof of treaty status, Metis membership or their Inuit card.

Indigenous scholarship: please specify whether you are Treaty, Metis or Inuit.
