Thank you for answering this questionnaire!

As part of the overall environmental restoration program at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, the Navy is updating its Community Involvement Plan.

The environmental restoration program focuses on cleaning up environmental contamination caused by past disposal, storage, and handling of hazardous materials, including both chemical contaminants and discarded munitions and unexploded ordnance. The Community Involvement Plan identifies community concerns and describes how the Navy and Marine Corps will communicate with the public about environmental restoration activities.

The Navy has contracted CH2M HILL to complete the 2020 Community Involvement Plan Update. CH2M HILL will be collecting information through this questionnaire and interviewing key stakeholders to understand community concerns and information needs related to the MCAS Cherry Point environmental restoration program.

To update the plan, we need input from community members like you! Your answers will help the Navy further understand what is important to you and the type of information the community wants or needs from the Navy regarding MCAS Cherry Point environmental restoration program activities. All responses are confidential and will be used in summary format to prepare the 2020 Community Involvement Plan Update.
