ADEA invites applications from ADEA financial members currently living in rural/remote Western Australia for the ADEA-WA Branch 2019 Symposium Travel Grants. One travel grant, of up to $500,  and two travel grants of up to $250 will be awarded to support members living in rural and remote areas participate in the 2019 ADEA-WA Branch Symposium to be held Friday 8 February 2019 at Telethon Speech and Hearing Centre Wembley Perth WA.


Eligibility for these grants are for members:
. who have been financial members of ADEA for 12 months or more
. who live in regional, rural and remote areas of Western Australia
. who have not received a travel grant from ADEA in the last 2 years
. who are not receiving a grant from another body to attend this conference

Members of the Organising Committee for the conference are not eligible to apply.

Applications will be assessed by the ADEA-WA Branch Executive against the following selection criteria:
. Benefits of attending the event for their current practice in diabetes education
. Difficulty attending the event without receiving the travel grant
· Active participation in the event by presenting a paper or poster; chairing a session etc.

National Office will contact all applicants by COB  Tuesday 10 December 2018 with the outcomes of your application.
