About this research

Become want to know what you think about acronyms being used for children in care. Acronyms are when people take the first letter of each word in a phrase, and sometimes this becomes a new word in everyday language - like DVD (Digital Versatile Disc)

Your views are really important because you’re the experts on being in care!

We will use what you tell us to write a report and may use bits of what you say in the report. If we do, we’ll keep it anonymous (this means we will remove clues about who you are – like where you live or your surname). We will make the report public. This means we'll share it with other charities, decision-makers (like MPs), the media and whoever else is interested.

Who is this survey for?

This survey is for children in care and care leavers aged up to 25. If you are under 16, please get permission from a carer or your social worker to take part.
