Percent for Art
Percent for Art allocates one percent of the eligible construction budget of any publicly accessible municipal project for the acquisition of art. The Edmonton Arts Council directs this program and provides vision for, and stewardship of, the City of Edmonton Public Art Collection.

Opportunity for Community Involvement
The Edmonton Arts Council seeks Community Representatives for the upcoming public art selection committees associated with the Valley Line LRT.
Community Representatives are residents living adjacent or close to specific municipal projects qualifying for the Percent for Art program. These individuals generally possess an understanding of, and appreciation for, visual art. Their knowledge of their community – cultural and socio-economic – helps to ensure the selection of relevant public art.
