For our Cells team, we need a Cell Banking Specialist who is proactive and service-oriented. We are looking for a problem-solving team player that is constantly seeking self-improvement.
Job responsabilities
- Evaluate the biocompatibility of different materials for cell growth.
-Optimize the growth of eukaryotic cell lines in defined media.
-Evaluate of additives and formulations for in-house media development that improve growth and production of cell lines.
- Culture medium preparation.
- Maintenance of different cell lines
Qualifications
- Degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Pharmacy or Bio-Engineering
-Knowledge of laboratory elements and techniques
-Knowledge in cell culture in BSL-1 and 2 facilities
-Strong analytical and statistical background.
- 1-2 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmacy or similar companies with GMP compliance knowledge (mandatory).
-Cell metabolism networks knowledge is a plus
-Design of Experiment approach is highly desired
-Upper intermediate English level
