Let us know...

If you are a professional artist, creative business, cultural organisation, museum, gallery or collective living and working in one of our 7 Council areas we want to know how the recent bushfire threat has impacted you.

We would like you to tell us about your personal, school, arts organisation and/or community's needs in relation to workshops, projects and arts education, as well as financial and mental health assistance requirements. Please note this is not an offer of direct assistance, more an effort to understand what is needed in the region.

Your personal information and responses will remain confidential. The answers we receive in this survey will help us to better understand the social, economic, physical and emotional impacts of the bushfires. We will also be able to look into ways to support our Southern Tablelands Arts region creatives, organisations and businesses in the recovery from this disaster.

We understand that the situation and threat is not over for many, and hope that the information you provide will help us and other agencies to assist you on your road to recovery. Examples of loss may include materials or instruments, infrastructure, portfolios, collections and bodies of work, to name a few. We have not forgotten the emotional strain for those not directly affected but suffering anxiety from the heightened state of alert, loss of income and worry for loved ones in other communities.

We will also stay across assistance programs and relief efforts that are specific to our industry and region, and update you as they come to hand.

Southern Tablelands Arts values the importance of the arts to the very fabric of our community, so please contact us at ao@southerntablelandsarts.com.au or 4823 4407 if you wish to discuss anything directly.
