National PTA is seeking candidates for its national committees. Standing Committees include (the number of members for each committee, per the bylaws, is included in parenthesis):
Diversity, Inclusion and Outreach (9)
Field Service (7)
Finance (National PTA Board Members only)
Youth Engagement (5) (PTA Members age 18 to 22)
Special committees for the 2021-2023 session:
Governance Policy Task Force (National PTA Board Members only)
YOU MUST BE A PTA MEMBER AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Please contact your state PTA or National PTA for membership opportunities.
YOUR COMPLETED COMMITTEE LETTER OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED TO NATIONAL PTA AND THE NOMINATING AND LEADERSHIP RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE VIA THIS ONLINE FORM. YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION ON OR BEFORE 11:59 P.M. ET Sunday, March 14, 2021. Once you submit your application, you will see a notice thanking you for your application submission. We are very much interested in youth members for some of our other committees. If you know someone between the ages of 18 to 22 who could apply for a committee, please forward the link to them.
