Thank you for your interest in participating in NecronomiCon-Providence 2024. The purpose of this survey is to assist the Core Programming Committee match potential panelists with panels, authors with reading slots, promote a smooth convention, and ensure the Convention Booklet has up to date information. The following information must be submitted in order to be considered to appear on programming.

Phone numbers and email addresses are for internal administrative use and will not be sold, published, or used for marketing purposes. Email addresses will be shared with panel moderators for preparation in advance of the event and in case issues arise during the convention (e.g., illness, travel disruptions, room changes, etc.)

Please note, submission of this information does not *guarantee* being scheduled on any panels - we'll do our very best to both match folks with panels they're well suited for and try to foster a great line-up of panels and panelists. IF you are accepted as a guest panelist, we will be happy to offer you a 50% reduced-rate guest pass for the convention - $75. We greatly appreciate you recognizing that this convention is *expensive* to stage and hope this provides enough appreciation and financial incentive for you to feel welcome and appreciated. If this is a financial hardship, please reach out and let us know - we have a fund raised for just such needs.

Question Title

Question Title

* 6. Please provide a THIRD PERSON biography of 150 words or less for the Program Guide, highlighting your interests, background, publications, and awards as you deem relevant. Publication titles will be italicized; no block caps, please. Please do not include contact information or websites in biographies.

Question Title

* 7. Tell us which panels you would be interested in appearing on, with a brief explanation of why you would be a good fit for each. Don't assume we know you and your background; sell yourself. What specific expertise or perspective would you offer on the subject? Formal credentials and publications are not a requirement, but certainly of interest. We want knowledgeable experts and a variety of perspectives, and don't want you sitting in the audience listening to people who know less than you do (except by choice).

We cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to your preferred (or any) panels, but will do our best to match people up and, ideally, bring in new and talented voices and faces to the podium. It is also possible that minor changes will be made to the programming line-up (e.g., it may be necessary to drop or add a couple panels between now and the event).

Question Title

* 8. Would you be willing to serve as a panel moderator?

Question Title

* 9. Do you want a reading slot for fiction or poetry? [NB: we have been able to accommodate most reading requests in the past but cannot guarantee a slot or particular grouping. We'll do our best.]

Question Title

* 10. If you answered YES to question 9, please note if you have a new or upcoming publication you are promoting - we want to support authors with current work if possible.

Question Title

* 11. Do you have suggestions for panel topics at future events?

Question Title

* 12. Is there anything else you want to tell us for planning purposes? This could be anything, including accessibility concerns, you have a restraining order on someone you believe we should be aware of, etc. You can also reach out to Niels at Keeper@necronomicon-providence.com or Ken at programming@necronomicon-providence.com at any time.
