Introduction

Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) are committed to achieving services that are free of racism and that embed culturally safe and responsive ways of working, continuously, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The 2022 Cultural Safety, Racism and Lateral Violence Survey seeks to understand your experiences of cultural safety, racism, and lateral violence in a range of settings including the workplace, education, university, and in clinical placements.

The experiences of our members support IAHA to demonstrate the need, advocate for and lead transformational change in our systems, ensuring more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are supported to succeed in health and related sectors.

Your participation in the survey is voluntary. The Survey will take approximately 25 minutes of your time and you can choose to exit the survey at any time.

IAHA understand that reflecting on the experiences of cultural safety, racism and lateral violence can be difficult. IAHA have policies and procedures in place to support members who may be experiencing distress, and we encourage you to contact IAHA should you have any concerns.
