ABOUT THE SDOH ACADEMY
Founded in 2017, The Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Academy is a virtual training series designed to help staff from health centers, health center controlled networks (HCCNs), and primary care associations (PCAs) develop, implement, and sustain SDOH interventions in their clinics and communities. In 2022, the SDOH Academy launched its first SDOH Academy Innovations Showcase Competition.

Who Can Participate in the Competition:
The SDOH Academy invites staff from Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), FQHC Look-Alikes (LALs), Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), and their partner organizations carrying out an innovation that directly benefits health centers or health center patients to participate in the 2025 SDOH Academy Innovations Showcase Competition.
Why Participate:
This is a unique opportunity for you, health center staff and stakeholders, to shape the narrative about your innovative work to address the specific social drivers unique to youth! Through this interactive training and showcase competition, you will have an opportunity to:
- Strengthen your foundational knowledge of the youth-specific social drivers of health (SDOH) through on-demand microtrainings launching in February 12, 2025.
- Be recognized for your innovative SDOH intervention or response during a national showcase webinar in May, 2025.
Bonus! There are no "losers" in this competition. All submissions for the competition will be included on the SDOH Academy website.
