The City of Markham is working with our School Board to try a new project called School Streets at Black Walnut Public School this May.
School Streets help keep students safe by limiting car traffic on some streets near the school during drop-off and pick-up times. This can make it easier and safer for students to walk, bike, scoot, or roll to school.
From
May 19 to June 12, car traffic will be limited on
John Allen Cameron Street, in front of the school, before and after school. This survey asks questions about how you travel to and from school and how safe it feels around the school. Your answers will help us learn how students get to school and how it feels to travel around the school before the project starts.
Who can participate
This survey is open to:
· parents/guardians of students at Black Walnut Public School,
· students (Grades 4 – 8)
· school staff, and
· community members.
* If you are a parent/guardian, school staff, or community member, please fill out this version of the survey.Your answers are voluntary. Your responses will not affect your grades or how your school views you.
By continuing, you indicate that you understand the purpose of the survey and agree to participate.
