The International Association of Public Transport needs you!

The UITP Sustainable Development Committee with support of the University of Milano Bicocca (Italy) are launching a global survey aiming at demonstrating how the public transport sector supports the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Operators and authorities are invited to respond to this questionnaire. Results will be compiled in a report in an agglomerated way and case studies will be identified across goals and sub-targets of the SDGs. This survey provides an assessment framework on SDGs to support public transport organisations aligning their sustainability reporting with SDGs and assess the level of maturity of their SDG strategy. The finalised study will allow respondents to compare their level of maturity on SDGs with other organisations around the world.

Sections of this questionnaire:
Section 1: Climate change mitigation and adaptation and reduction of environmental impact
Section 2: Work condition and governance in public transport
Section 3: Equitable, reliable and efficient sustainable mobility
Section 4: Safety and security of city dwellers

Complete lists of questions:
- Public transport operator (75 questions)
- Public transport authority (69 questions)
