The Drew Griffin Beacon of Light Award is issued annually to recognize Griffin’s passion for community service. The award was created to honor a member of the Alliance community “who best personifies the selflessness, love, and dedication which Drew Griffin contributed to the LGBTQ+ community."

This individual does not have to be an Alliance member, but must have made a significant impact on the Alliance in a positive way, in addition to other facets of the LGBTQ+ community through volunteerism and/or professionalism.
