Introduction

For too long workers' voices in the NDIS have been ignored. We need to hear from you and as many DSWs as possible. Together the stories and views of many workers can be the catalyst for change. We want to know why people work in the NDIS and what makes people leave or stay. In our survey of Disability Support Workers in 2022, 84% said they had difficulty attracting, recruiting or retaining staff in their workplace and that this impact was felt by workers and participants alike.
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. There is the opportunity to leave your details at the end of the survey; we want to keep you in touch with our campaign to fight for a fair NDIS, and keep you updated on the survey results. Your individual results will not be shared with anyone, however we may use deidentified data to work towards creating change.
