Association of American University Presses 2017 Residency Application

100% of survey complete.

The Association's Residency Program is administered by the Professional Development Committee. Applications and applicant resumes must be submitted by May 30, 2017. Participants will be selected and notified by the Professional Development Committee by July 14, 2017. Residencies must be a minimum of 2.5 days and go to a maximum of 5 days. All residencies must be completed by December 31, 2017. Expense reimbursement requests and experience reports MUST be submitted to the AAUP Central Office within four weeks of residency completion.

The Residency is receiving support from Johns Hopkins University Press through 2021 to honor retired press Kathleen Keane who strongly supported the professional exchange of ideas that this program facilitates.

* I have received approval from my director and/or supervisor to apply for the 2017 Residency Program. I will be given salaried time off to participate.

* I agree to submit both an expense report and a report on my experience within four weeks of completing my residency. I will also provide follow-up reports as requested.

Please submit your application and email your resume by May 30, 2017. Participants and host presses will be notified no later than July 12, 2017. It will then be the responsibility of each participant and host press to determine a mutually favorable time for the residency as well as other details of the visit. Residencies must be completed by December 31, 2017.
