Introduction & Background

Thank you for participating in the Town’s public survey on the potential establishment of a dog park within the Town of Arnprior.

The Town of Arnprior is soliciting resident feedback on the potential establishment of an off-leash dog recreation area (dog park) within our community. During 2019 budget deliberations, Council directed staff to conduct a thorough review of the feasibility of creating a dog park earlier than the scheduled 2026 date.

Following the tabling of the resulting staff report (starting on Page 19 of the December 9th, 2019 Council Meeting agenda), Council further directed that public feedback be sought with particular emphasis on levels of interest, financial costs, and potential community involvement and leadership for the project.
