NAASC, the ICAR 2020 Organizing Committee, seeks your input to develop an exciting and diverse program; our goal is to feature new and exciting speakers and topics. This survey/input mechanism includes several places for input; you are invited to respond to any that you want but you're not required to respond to all sections.
We also are intentionally working towards diversity and inclusion for ICAR 2020, including enabling parents of young children and folks with disabilities to fully participate.
Areas that you can give input include:
(1) Propose a mini-symposium topic that YOU would like to lead/co-organize; selected sessions will receive free registration for  2 speakers (including the organizer) and up to 5 (we will reserve several symposia to be postdoc and student organized)
(2) Propose TOPICS / THEMES that you think should be in the ICAR 2020 program
(3) Nominate LEADERS for symposia (i.e. people doing exciting work that we should know about)
(4) Nominate INVITED SPEAKERS, including Keynote Speaker nominations
(5) Suggest a Workshop or Luncheon topic (e.g. Women in Plant Biology; Undergraduate Success, etc.)
(6) Specific approaches to better enable parent(s)/guardian(s) of young children and folks with disabilities to participate.
(7) Get Social and sign up to join or lead meet-up groups, such as LGBTQIA+ Allies, or Under-Represented Minorities, or Teacher-Focused Attendees (such as Primarily Undergraduate Institutions)

The survey includes a few demographic questions to ensure broad representation in input and nominations.
All input is anonymous unless you specifically choose to provide your information (e.g. in the section for applying to lead a mini-symposium, or in optional contact fields).

Our estimated SELECTION TIMELINE for community- submitted symposium selection is listed at the end of the survey as well as contact information if you have questions of the committee.
