This survey is being initiated out of the Safer Buildings Coalition, No Noise Task Force.  The goal of survey is to quantify disorder that exists amongst Emergency Radio Communications Enhancement Systems (ERCES) installations across the country, amongst Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), Radio System Operators, and FCC licensees.  In many instances, the AHJs are not the same institutions as the Radio System Operators and/or Public Safety Spectrum FCC License holders – which can cause disorder, lack of process, and general confusion amongst parties when implementing ERCES systems across the nation.

There is no obligation on your part to participate in this survey, nor is it necessary that you respond to all survey questions. Individual responses will be kept confidential, and cumulative survey results will be provided to all respondents.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact EWA’s Andrea Cumpston at andrea.cumpston@enterprisewireless.org.
