INTER-PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION: AIMA GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR LETTER WRITING. A public consultation commissioned by the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA)
What is this consultation about and why is your feedback important?
The Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA) welcomes your comments as part of a public consultation process on interprofessional communication and letter writing. Your opinions and experiences are integral to informing further developments in improving communication between all healthcare practitioners.
The guiding principles and letter-writing templates were developed in response to calls from healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and patients for AIMA to provide guidance on interprofessional communication and collaboration between the different types of HCPs that patients might choose to be involved in their care.
These resources have been developed by the AIMA Interprofessional Communication Working Group, a multidisciplinary team who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and safety by facilitating effective communication between all types of healthcare practitioners.
At the end of this survey you will have the option to consent or decline for your anonymous, confidential feedback to also be included in a research project that is being conducted by The University of Sydney.
Thank you for taking the time to engage in this consultation.
