Dr. Patricia (Patty) Croom is the Overseas Schools Project (OSP) traveler for this trip. Patty serves as Director of International Student Admissions, Recruitment, and Student Success in the Office of Admissions at Michigan State University (MSU). She has worked in U.S. higher education for over 30 years and holds a doctorate in Higher, Lifelong, and Adult Higher Education studies from MSU.

With many years of experience in U.S. Admissions, Dr. Croom could speak with authority on any of the following topics:
- How to research US colleges and universities
- Building a balanced college list
- Holistic college admissions
- Application process and timeline
- Parts of the application and how they are considered in Admissions: College Essay(s), Standardised Testing, Extracurricular Activities, Recommendations, Possible Interview
