About Your Bus Service

Haileybury operates a bus network to and from the Keysborough campus using a combination of both Public Transport Victoria (PTV) and Ventura bus routes. Haileybury subsidises the services to an annual amount exceeding $400,000 and also receives support from PTV to provide a number of the routes that are operated.

USE OF SWIPE CARDS AND BUS TRACKER INFORMATION

Ventura operate a Bus Tracking application (Ventura Tracker) that can be downloaded to Smart Phones for information about the Haileybury Route Buses to and from Keysborough. This App allows students and parents to see the location of the bus in the AM and PM periods in live time tracking, scheduled and actual bus arrival times and also allows the user to track students on and off the particular bus if activated.

Students will be required to use their Haileybury issued ID card to swipe on and off the bus for each PTV or Ventura Private Route Bus trip so that the above information will be available. Students travelling on Haileybury PTV Route buses will also need to swipe on and off with their Myki cards, as fines may be issued by PTV for travelling on PTV buses without an authorised ticket.

The App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. The Ventura Tracker system can also be viewed on the Ventura website at: https://www.venturabus.com.au/route/haileybury-college/

PTV Route Buses (B, D, E, F, H, J, K, L, Q, & V)

Full time use
Students are required to travel with a valid Myki on all these route buses.  Students should apply for a Myki Annual Student Pass which is currently $617.  You must apply for a PTV School Student ID card in order to get this rate (forms can be downloaded from the PTV website and the School declaration can be completed by Campus office staff).

Part time use
Students are still required to hold a valid Myki for these journeys.  Children aged between 5 and 18 (under 19) can travel on a child concession fare, however customers aged 17 and 18 must carry government issued proof of age identification or proof of another concession entitlement (such as PTV School Student ID or Health Care Card).

Please note that this is a requirement of Public Transport Victoria and therefore is out of the control of the School. Fines may be issued by PTV in the event that a child is travelling without sufficient documentation.

Ventura Route Buses (A, D1, D2, D3, E1, E2, H1, H2, T, W & CITY)

No Myki card is required for these routes.

Note: the D1 to D3 and E1, E2, H1 & H2 are all additional buses on the PTV D, E & H routes.   There are also at times additional buses duplicating these routes for capacity reasons, such as D1A, D2A, D3A, H1A.  Please see the Bus Route lists for the days and stops covered.
