Parents Reaching Out invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 16th Annual Family Leadership Conference to be held virtually throughout April 2021.

This conference will help families improve their advocacy skills so they can impact the systems that affect their children. We are looking for workshops that offer an innovative approach towards helping families develop their skills as advocates for their children and as leaders in their communities. We also encourage workshops to be delivered in Spanish as an option but not required, and also those that address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon families of and individuals living with disabilities.

Please make sure to include specific points detailing how your workshop will encourage and develop advocacy skills and parent/family participation in policy.

Sessions can take the form of a PowerPoint, panel discussion or activity-based session for up to an hour in length with an additional 15 minutes for questions and answers.

Please contact Belinda Vigil with any additional questions at bvigil@parentsreachingout.org

All proposals must be received no later than March 1, 2021.
