2017 marks CIR’s 60th Anniversary! As we take on the issues that mean the most to us in 2017, we can’t help but think back on the residents who started our union sixty years ago in 1957! Our brave sisters and brothers fought hard so we could have fair contracts, pay increases, better working conditions, control over patient care, and provisions in place for creating safer work environments.
