AAPS Awards Selection Committee Call for Volunteers

Help Identify the Peers Who Will Inspire Other Scientists

The AAPS Awards Committee oversees the AAPS Awards Program, which brings attention to, and celebrates, impactful science as well as the scientists who serve as role models in the pharmaceutical sciences community.

AAPS seeks applications for two volunteers to serve on selection committees for two of AAPS' most important honors:

Distinguished Pharmaceutical Scientist Award
Global Leader Award

Qualifications

Applicants must:

Maintain membership throughout their service.
Review the award's requirements in the AAPS Awards Guide (PDF).
Commit to spending a few hours in early May reviewing nomination packages.
Declare any conflict of interest they might hold with a nominee to the AAPS Awards Committee Chair.
Attend a selection committee meeting in May to select a recipient.
Use web-based software, including Microsoft Teams and the awards review platform.
Maintain confidentiality and act impartially and diligently.

Applicants will be notified about their status in April.
