Please register here for the Webinar, Sexual Assault Cold Case Survivors and the Neurobiology of Trauma on April 23 at 1PM EST.
The National Center for Victims of Crime, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women, will host a Webinar, Sexual Assault Cold Case Survivors and the Neurobiology of Trauma at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on April 23, 2013.

Hear from one of our country’s foremost researchers on violence against women about the neurobiology of trauma and sexual assault cold case survivors. Dr. Campbell will explain how the brain responds to trauma and the impact of trauma on victim participation in the criminal justice system. In particular, participants will gain an understanding of the way trauma affects victim participation in cases that are “reactivated” after many years have passed. Learn how trauma affects a victim’s reaction to the crime and the ability to remember details of the assault.

If you would like to participate in this Webinar, please complete this form to register. You will receive an email with a link to use the day of the Webinar. The log-in information will also be posted on our Website on the day of the training at victimsofcrime.org/dna/training.
