In the past year, there have been substantial cutbacks to federal government staffing levels and support for other organizations. This will be compounded by the current federal government’s planned cuts, announced in the November 2025 budget. At the Public Service Alliance of Canada, we are tracking the potential impact of cutbacks and how harmful they will be to public services that people rely on.
