AAIP 49th Annual Meeting and National Health Conference "Journey to Wellness" - Call for Abstracts

The Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP) Conference Planning Committee invites the submission of abstracts to be presented at the 2020 AAIP Annual Meeting and Health Conference, "Journey to Wellness", August 5-9, 2020 in Tacoma, WA area. Over the years, session have included case presentation discussions, interactive, hands-on skill-building workshops, and traditional lectures. AAIP encourages innovative educational programming that promotes clinical application of best practices to support and strengthen health outcomes for AI/AN people and communities. Abstracts should be relevant to the overall conference objectives:

* Engage in discussions about current health care issues that impact Indian country.
* Integrate evidence-based strategies and current guidelines in managing commonly encountered clinician and patient wellness issues.
* Explore Native traditions and practices that promote overall wellness while working in rural, urban, or tribal healthcare systems.
* Evaluate wellness promotion activities in Indian Country on achieving optimal health and quality of life for AI/AN patients.
