NCJFCJ Board of Directors - Information for Second Term Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for a second, three-year term on the NCJFCJ Board of Directors, and for completing this questionnaire.

Please note you must complete the application process for nomination sixty (60) days prior to the commencement of the conference, as prescribed by the Nominating Committee, and you must certify that you will comply with the Responsibilities of a Director, as outlined in Article IV of the NCJFCJ Bylaws, and that you will comply with the Standards of Conduct.

Those serving on the Board of Directors are expected to be actively involved in the work of the NCJFCJ. Thus, the Nominating Committee is interested in your involvement in NCJFCJ activities. The Nominating Committee will consider other relevant factors of your candidacy, including but not limited to:
• Participation on committees
• Drafting of articles or publications
• Serving as faculty at conferences or workshops
• Participation on other advisory groups
• Diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, geography, and jurisdiction (which includes appellate and tribal courts) and commitment to the principles of the Council’s Diversity Policy Statement
• Attributes of collaborative leadership, seeking and valuing working with a diverse group of people with varied expertise
• Financial support of the organization
