Dalaang Galii Wogun Exhibition at the Roxy Gallery

In conjunction with Dalaang Galii Wogun, the Roxy Gallery is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists living in and around the Kyogle region to be part of the Dalaang Galii Wogun exhibition in October 2022.
 
This exhibition will provide artists with a number of fantastic opportunities to promote their artworks and develop their creative profile, and is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists working in any medium and art form. The Roxy Gallery also seeks interest and a proposal from artists wishing to share their skills through the form of an artist’s talk or interactive creative making (yarn up) session as part of this exhibition.

Artists will receive an exhibition fee of $250. Four artists will be invited to participate in artist yarn and create sessions. Invited artists will be provided with a fee of $300 and some material prices covered for each session.

Key Dates

Exhibition: 14 October to 6 November 2022 
Set Up: Monday 10 October 2022
Official Opening: Friday 14 October 2022

The Artist Yarn and Create sessions will run from 10 am - 1pm in the Roxy Gallery on the following dates:
Saturday 22 October (in conjunction with Dalaang Galii Wogun)
Saturday 29 October
Saturday 5 November

Expressions of Interest due Monday 15 August 2022
Artists will be notified on 28th August 2022
