ECMC’s Opportunities Guide and Workbook is a free annual publication designed to help to help high school students explore college options, understand admission requirements, navigate financial aid, and more. As this publication is updated annually, we encourage distributing the most current version whenever possible.

If providing support to students who live in California, Connecticut, Oregon, or Virginia, please order the relevant state-specific workbook only. The state-specific workbooks are the same as the national workbooks with the addition of state-specific information on colleges, financial aid and resources.

In an effort to prevent duplicate orders, if you are a community-based organization ordering booklets for a high school, please verify with the high school first that they have not yet ordered workbooks.

We recommend opting in to receive an email confirmation by checking the box at the end of the order form to keep a copy of your order details. Since the order link is valid for 90 days, we encourage you to download and save your order form for your records.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email from UPS that includes tracking information. English workbooks are scheduled to begin shipping mid-September 2026, with Spanish versions following in late October 2026.

The Opportunities workbook is provided at no cost and should always be shared with students free of charge. To help keep this resource accessible to all, it may not be sold.

Please order as many workbooks as you expect you will need for the 2026-2027 academic year.
