We are thrilled to announce that the nominations for leadership positions within the Florida Pharmacy Association are officially open! This is your chance to nominate a pharmacist who aims to make a real impact on the pharmacy community.
 
We are currently seeking nominations for President-Elect, Treasurer and Regional Directors for Regions 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 for the 2024-2025 term.
 
About the Roles:
President-Elect chairs the Advisory Council on Pharmacy Practice meeting and substitutes for the President in the event the President is unable to participate in activities. The President-Elect is responsible for approving officers for the political action committee Board of Directors and the selection of upcoming council/committee members.
Technician Director is responsible for developing and implementing technical plans and association policies. The Technician Director provides technical direction on business decisions and the execution of specific projects. 
Regional Directors
serve as the principal liaison between the Association and the FPA Unit Association(s) within a given region. The Regional Director acts as a spokesperson for the FPA on any professional or legislative issue and an advocate to encourage Unit Association(s) activity. Regional Directors serve a two-year staggered term. 
 
Nomination Guidelines:
🔹 Nominees must be active members of the Florida Pharmacy Association.
🔹 Nominees must be a licensed pharmacist or technician in good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
🔹 Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.
