ELIGIBILITY CRITIERIA

Apply to Serve on the 2024 Board of Directors

As a member of MAR, you have the privilege of applying to serve on the Board of Directors. As a Director, you will have a hand in guiding the association into the future. Your commitment to serve will lend growth to the real estate industry and community at large.

Qualifications for Directors:  Must be a MAR REALTOR® Member in good standing for a minimum of two years.

Director Responsibilities:
  • Governance is the responsibility of the Board, which includes setting the vision and long-term strategies.
  • Represent the membership and act in their best interest.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the Association to promote MAR programs and services.
  • Learn about the value of the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) and the MAR Foundation in order to increase awareness for our members
  • Attendance is essential at:
    • MAR board meetings. There are 6-8 meetings per year, each is approximately 2 hours long.
    • Annual board orientation and association events
    •  MAR Events & activities
