The 2021 TECHCORPShack coding event will give high school students the opportunity to learn about computer science in a fun, engaging and inclusive environment. Over the course of the experience, students will learn how to use MIT App Inventor to explore the world of mobile app development and create an app that tackles a real-world need or problem.
A total of 65 high school students will participate in full-day hackathons in Akron, Columbus, and Zanesville.
Families will be responsible for transportation to/from the site.

Grade Band: 9th-12th grades
This opportunity is open to those who meet both of the following requirements:
(1) Live in the Akron, Columbus, or Zanesville area
(2) Are currently enrolled in the 9th-12th grade
Students will be notified of selection beginning Monday, October 11th.
