The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of young people (ages 15-26) who work alongside the Women’s Fund of Omaha to make sexual and reproductive health resources and education barrier-free for young people in Nebraska and Pottawattamie County, Iowa.

As a YAC member, you’ll use your lived experiences to help shape events, trainings, social media content and outreach strategies that support youth in our community.

We’re looking for passionate, creative young people who are eager to make change, learn new skills, and help peers navigate identity, advocacy, and access to sexual and reproductive health care.

YAC members meet about 2 times/month and are paid $20/hour. Hours may increase around events. Meals are provided at each meeting.
