President Steve WarnekSteve Warnek has had a twenty-eight year professional career at what is now known as Nokia Bell Labs - beginning in Unix systems administration to later working as a project manager on public sector works for NYC Transit, NJ Transit and Honolulu HART's Skyline rail system. He is currently delivering NOKIA’s NextGen Universal cloud Services Platform (ngUSP) for AT&T.Steve’s creative career spans his work as freelance writer for the Star Trek television series (from 1995 to 2004) to his current role as owner and executive producer at his own independent production company, Rogue Moon Productions. His science-fiction audio drama, HELIOS, is now releasing in June 2025 on the Audiobrary digital platform.Steve has served as a proud member of the PMINJ Board since 2017 - emboldening a growing team of creatives as the Chapter's VC of Marketing.Steve holds both PMP and CSM certifications, and is a member of the Writers Guild of America. Membership Vice Chair Mark BarashMark has over 30 years of experience leading IT projects and programs in the CPG industry, with a focus on Supply Chain application development, and has most recently been involved in PMO and Portfolio Management. Currently at Mondelez, Mark has global responsibility for the Integrated Supply Chain systems investment strategy, portfolio, project execution and governance. Mark also serves as a Trustee and Past President of SIMNJ and is active in SIMNJ and the NJ-SIM Foundation.Mark has been a member of the PMINJ Chapter since 2010, where he has held positions of President, Vice President Membership and Director Administration Operations. He has been a volunteer for the PMINJ Chapter for 14 years. Mark holds a PMP certification. Mark lives in Rockaway, New Jersey with his wife Yvonne and four cats, and they are proud of their two married daughters who live and work nearby in New Jersey. Question Title * 3. Operations Vice Chair Charles RosenCharles has extensive experience as a portfolio, program, and project manager spanning a long, rewarding career. He has worked at AT&T, AT&T Solutions, PMOLink, GalaxE.Solutions and now shares his time among PMINJ, professional services firm Ethical-PM, LLC and the 501(c)3 Somerset County Park Foundation, where he serves as CFO and Treasurer. Over the years he’s developed some skills in decision support and conflict resolution, strategic planning, complex systems delivery, and organizational management. He’s worked with a wide range of private, public and non-profit organizations including Nabisco, ATT Labs, U.S. Forest Service, NSA, FEMA, Louisiana State University, The Red Cross, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and others. Charles has been a PMINJ Chapter member since 2008, where he has held positions of Vice President Programs and Director of Programs and Speakers. He has been a volunteer for the PMINJ Chapter for 13 years. Charles holds both PMP and SAFe Agilist certifications and is looking forward to completing the PMI-PMOCP cert. His goals for the PMINJ Chapter – (1) broaden our appeal to project professionals, (2) actively anticipate the future and (3) maintain the relevance of PMINJ members as critical thought leaders.PMINJ, as a result of the PMI New Member Model, will grow beyond our expectations. We have the opportunity and the ability to deliver new services to our members wherever they are as well as increase our on-demand offers.
