2025 Economic Sentiment

Slowing growth is a major concern for climbing gym owners and operators. We are asking you to fill out a very brief survey that you should be able to answer without much effort. Please respond to this survey by March 21st.

The results of this survey will be used by the Kernmantle Group and the CWA for a presentation at the April 2025 CWA Summit in Salt Lake City by Dr. Matt Roberts titled "Industry Economic and Market Conditions." After the Summit, a report will be sent exclusively to survey participants.

NOTE: To save you time, prevent duplication, and improve data quality, responses will be matched to existing CWA records. This saves you from having to answer demographic questions such as number of locations, type of gym(s), or any geographic data. The responses will remain confidential and will only be analyzed and presented in aggregate form and only in groups of sufficient size to maintain anonymity.
