The MGH Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) is grateful for your interest in potentially precepting a student or students for the 2023 Summer Research Trainee Program (SRTP). We would like to learn about your interest in precepting one or several medical students, undergraduate seniors, or graduate students for this eight-week program from June 5, 2023 - July 28, 2023. If you are interested in precepting a student(s), please complete this brief survey below by Friday, March 3, 2023.
Students will be joining us onsite and will be housed in Mass Art, Boston. Although the expectation is that SRTP student’s research projects will be conducted onsite, we recognize you/your team may be working hybrid and students may adapt to this hybrid model. Students are expected to work 40 hours per week and, with guidance from you and your team, present their research project at the end of the summer. As the assigned preceptor, you are expected to design an original research project for the student(s) while providing longitudinal mentorship and guidance during the eight-week period. This commitment also includes regularly scheduled supervisory check-ins with the student(s).
