Professional journalists from all media who want to understand the practice of scientific research, gain a grounding in climate change science and the clean energy transition, and sharpen skills in climate change reporting are invited to apply for a 2023 Metcalf Institute fellowship.

The 25th Annual Science Immersion Workshop fellowships will support journalists who:
1) have a demonstrated interested in expanding and/or improving their reporting on climate change,
2) have minimal or no science background, and
3) can demonstrate how the Annual Workshop will benefit their reporting, specifically, and career, generally.

Deadline: Complete application packages must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023,  Eastern Standard Time. Application packages that are not complete by this deadline will not be reviewed.
